Itinerary

On the first day of your tour, we will pick you up from the airport, port, or your accommodation in Casablanca, the economic hub and largest city in Morocco. We begin by visiting the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, which sits on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Afterward, enjoy some free time for lunch, then explore the Corniche of Casablanca. Overnight stay at a hotel.

After breakfast, we will leave Casablanca and head to Volubilis, the ancient Roman ruins, which are a UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover its beautiful mosaics, ancient pillars, and archways. Then, we continue 30 km to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, known as the Ismaili capital. Here, we visit Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani Basin, the Royal Stables, the Granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After the visit, we head towards Fes for an overnight stay in a Riad.

This day is dedicated to exploring the highlights of Fes with a local guide. Fes is one of the imperial cities and the cultural and religious center of Morocco. We start with a visit to the Royal Palace Gate and the well-preserved medieval Medina, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud) and wander through the labyrinth of alleyways. We visit Medrasa Bouanania, Najjarine Fountain, the Tanneries, and the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world. Afterward, visit the Jewish Quarter (the Mellah) and then enjoy panoramic views from an ancient fortress overlooking the Medina. Return to your Riad for the night.

After breakfast, we travel south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco" due to its alpine-style architecture and cool climate. Next, we continue to the Cedars Forest, home to the Barbary macaques, where you can feed the monkeys and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Later, we head to Midelt for lunch, then drive towards Merzouga through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and the scenic Ziz Valley, with stops for panoramic views.
In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. We swap to camels and cross the sandy dunes. A stop will be made on top of a high dune to enjoy the sunset over the desert. Continue to the desert camp, where you can enjoy Berber drum music and dance around the campfire beneath the stars. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

An early wake-up is essential to experience the breathtaking sunrise in the Sahara Desert. Afterward, enjoy some free time for breakfast. We then return on camels to Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting. From there, we head to Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani is still a vibrant trading hub, and we will explore its lively souk.
Afterward, we continue to Erfoud, where we visit one of the local workshops specializing in fossilized marble. Then, we drive through the Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves, making our way to the Todra Gorges. This stunning canyon, carved by the Todra River, features high red cliffs and is a popular spot for rock climbers. Take your time to wander through the gorges and admire the beautiful landscape.
Enjoy some free time for lunch in a nearby restaurant. Then, we proceed to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. Along the way, we will make stops to see the famous “Monkey Fingers” rock formation and enjoy panoramic views of the valley. Finally, we head to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

We begin the day by driving to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival held in May, where locals showcase their rose products. Next, we continue through the beautiful palm groves of Skoura on our way to Ouarzazate. Here, we will visit the famous film studios where several iconic movies were shot.
Afterward, we head to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fortified village has appeared in many films, such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and TV shows like Game of Thrones.
We then depart for Marrakech, driving through the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we will make stops for lunch and take photos at scenic spots. Finally, we arrive in Marrakech, where we will drop you off at the airport or your accommodation. This marks the end of your 6-day tour through Morocco.
